Ritagliare il motivo desiderato, immergerlo brevemente (10 secondi) in acqua, tamponare e staccare delicatamente dalla carta, oppure premere brevemente su un dischetto umido e spostarlo via dalla carta. Successivamente, applicarlo su uno strato fresco di gel (gel costruttore, gel a una fase, gel lucido, ecc.), se necessario, tagliare leggermente i lati, lasciar indurire per circa 30 secondi in UV/LED e sigillare con 2 strati di gel lucido. I migliori risultati di adesione si ottengono lasciando circa 1-2 mm di distanza dal bordo dell'unghia. In questo modo si evitano scheggiature al bordo dell'unghia o sollevamenti alla base dell'unghia.
