Areas of application: Ready-to-use combination preparation for disinfection and cleaning of instruments and rotating instruments. Can be used in an ultrasonic bath. Spectrum of action and exposure times: Ready-to-use solution! Do not dilute!
Recommended use for instrument disinfection: Bactericidal, levurocidal according to VAH guidelines: 5 minutes, limited virucidal: 5 minutes.
Application: Disinfectant cleaning using an immersion bath: Place instruments in the working solution while open, if necessary after rough cleaning, and clean mechanically where necessary. All surfaces and cavities must be completely wetted by the working solution. After the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the instruments thoroughly with deionized water (fully demineralized water) and process further. Disinfectant cleaning using an ultrasonic bath: The disinfectant and cleaning solution can be used to increase the cleaning performance in standard stainless steel ultrasonic baths. The solution used must be degassed before first use. Do not exceed the sonication time as specified by the manufacturer and do not exceed temperatures of 40 °C. After the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the medical devices thoroughly with deionized water (fully demineralized water) and process further.
Instructions for use: The solution used must be changed immediately if it is visibly soiled, but at least every working day. For final disinfection, medical devices from risk class semi-critical A should be treated with a virucidal disinfectant. Instrument trays must be cleaned and disinfected at least every working day, preferably with a disposable cloth soaked in alcohol.
Composition: 100 g of solution contains: 0.28 g of N,N-didecyl-N-methyl-poly-(oxyethyl)-ammonium propionate, 0.19 g of alkylpropylenediamine-1,5-bisguanidinium diacetate.
Material compatibility: The use is not recommended for the following materials: brass, aluminum, polystyrene (PS), polysulfone (PSU), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC), polyurethane (PUR), silicone. For steel drills of the material group ISO 310 (hard steel), material compatibility is only limited, as this depends on the alloy used by the manufacturer.
