octenisept® wound disinfection - antiseptic for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds

Areas of application: octenisept® wound disinfection is an antiseptic for repeated, time-limited supportive antiseptic wound treatment. Colorless, very well-tolerated spray for disinfection and subsequent cleaning of cuts, scratches and abrasions as well as open blisters - quick and easy to use!
Instructions for use: Always use the medicine exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Carefully spray the area to be treated with the medicine. The wound must be completely wetted. Wait for the minimum exposure time of 1 to 2 minutes before taking any further measures, such as applying a wound dressing. These instructions must be followed carefully to achieve the desired effect. Since experience to date has only been gained with continuous use for around 14 days, the medicine should not be used for longer than two weeks without medical supervision.
Microbiological effectiveness:
- Bactericidal: ready to use, 30 sec.
- MRSA: ready to use, 30 sec.
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa: ready to use, 30 sec.
- Candida albicans: ready to use, 2 min.
- limited virucidal (EN14476): ready to use, 30 sec.
- Wounds: ready to use, 1 min.
Composition: 100 g solution contains: Active ingredients: 0.1 g octenidine dihydrochloride, 2.0 g phenoxyethanol (Ph. Eur.)
Other ingredients: 2-[(3-coconut fatty acid amidopropyl)dimethylazaniumyl]acetate, sodium D-gluconate, glycerol 85%, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, purified water
